What is My Hair??

My Hair is a luxury hair care range designed specially to make your hair feel amazing. At the minute we only have 1 Shampoo and Condtioner until we branch out and make more - these two products are free of any Parabens, SLS AND SLES free.

What are Parabens?

So Parabens are bad for your hair because they are easily absorbed through your skin and are very harmful to your scalp. They can also cause drying, irritating your scalp, fading of your colour and even hair loss. Basically try and stay well away from them.

What does SLS & SLES free mean?

An SLS and SLES free shampoo means its got no Sodium Lauryl Sulphate which is basically a bad sulphate for hair, often people think ALL sulphates are bad for your hair, but this is in fact incorrect. SLES & SLS are bad sulphates and you should stay well away from them. The My Hair 'Luxury La Vie' Shampoo does contain Ammonium Lauryl Sulphate - dont be alarmed as this is perfectly safe for your hair and will leave it looking amazing and healthy. 

Where did the  idea for the brand come from?

So when i was younger i always wanted to be a hair stylist and would often take my sisters girls worlds and play with their hair, and of course ruin them by accident. As i got older i decided it really was something i wanted to persue, so i started by doing my level 2 & 3 in collage and qualified. From there i always wanted to start my own hair care brand but never quite had the confidence as i thought 'whos gonna buy it'? Then bang lockdown 2020 happened and for like most other people it was a tough time but also my breakthrough. I started doing tiktoks of hair videos and general beauty things and now i stand with 1MILLION followers which is just crazy in its self. So with the support  love and encouragement from all my amazing followers i decided now was finally the time to start my own hair care range for you lot to try - and that's when My Hair by Paul Hiley was born
